BEATS NOT BULLETS SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
-Any Baltimore City High School student can enter
-Must be currently enrolled in school
-Can not be in summer disciplinary program
-Finalists will need parent's permission to participate
-Semi finalists will be contacted first week of June
-Finalists will be chosen by end of school year
PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE REAL WORLD CAREER EXPERIENCE:
-Working at the studio, learning how music is made and produced
-Working with merchandising department, managing orders & inventory
-Working with social media & marketing departments
-Street Team & Live Concert Access (as age appropriate)
-Receive letters of recommendation to use for college applications
-Receive $500 to use towards Educational & Academic improvement
-Select participants may be offered part-time positions with DBMG
TO PARTICIPATE:
-Post a 15-sec video on IG or Facebook, explaining why you want to participate in the beats Not Bullets program. Be creative!
-Tag Damond Blue and use hashtag #beatsnotbullets
-Follow @damondblue on IG
-Go to damondblue.com/beatsnotbullets and sign-up
First 50 students to submit completed applications will receive #beatsnotbullets t-shirts and many more will be eligible to win other free #beatsnotbullets and DBMG merchandise.
