Album Review: Big Flock left a huge piece of himself with his fans right before he went away (#FreeBigFlock). Flock's newly released album The Great Depression, has a multi- faceted, diverse sound. With a perfect mix of hardcore Hip-Hop and Trap with R&B elements that smooth it out and make the listening experience super pleasurable. This album is certainly an early holiday present for the true Hip-Hop head.
Big Flock included features from several dope artists including: Hood Rich Pablo, The Head Hippie himself; Visto, Baby Ahk and 21 Savage. He collaborated with talented DMV bred producers Ill Wonka and DB Bantino to create an unmatched sound utilizing classic samples as well as original artistry that caters to his hometown supporters. Flock brought in other producers with different strengths to diversify his sound and make a well-rounded project.
Big Flock and 21 Savage left a lasting impression on my favorite track on the album entitled "Black KKK" where Flock describes the Black struggle from a personal perspective."Come Over" featuring Vanessa, is a sexy track providing the perfect mood music for a romantic encounter. These are merely two of the bangers this album has to offer.
The Great Depression takes the listener through a wide range of emotions touching on sex, violence, current societal issues and the ever exciting party turn-up. I comfortably let this album rock from start to finish and every track left me satisfied. Download your copy of The Great Depression in the link below. You will not be disappointed.
