About Dom Of Da District: The only thing she knew was battle rap… Her freestyle'n would just go on and on and on and on….Well! You get the picture! But no matter what, she’d try her best to stay on topic as much as possible. In high school everyone around her were so animated. She met people from all walks of life, due to families being stationed by a near by army base, she grew to learn universal styles of rap. Adopted by her Aunt on her mother’s side, she was back and forth between her Aunt and her father’s house in NW DC. As Dom came into making her own way, she had some legal trouble (in which most people do!). She stepped up her promo, vowing not to go back to jail, and in one year, she had learned her style and place in DC’s underground scene. Known for her songs like "kitty kitty" and "kill me" she loves to make the crowd go off!! The name Dom of Da District came from living and hustling in every part of DC. She does it for not only herself, but for every dominant female who ever wanted to be themselves but cant, or wanted to be themselves but won't. Her moral she lives by is to remain humble and true to her fans. Oh yeah and make them believe DC still has this music come up on lock! In 2013, she won the DMV LIFE Showcase over some of the best talent in the DMV!
