Man in Germantown Allegedly Targeting Women's Locker Rooms
A 44-year-old man from Takoma Park, Maryland, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of being a Peeping Tom after allegedly disguising himself as a woman to record unsuspecting victims inside women’s locker rooms in Montgomery County.
On October 10, 2025, officers from the Montgomery County Police 5th District responded to a call from a woman at One Life Fitness in Germantown, who reported being recorded in the shower by an unknown individual inside the women’s locker room.
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as Tshikundi Taty. Authorities discovered that Taty would dress in women’s clothing to gain access to female locker rooms and then remove the disguise afterward in an attempt to avoid recognition as he fled the scene.
On October 29, 2025, officers tracked Taty to a Planet Fitness in White Oak, where he was once again found disguised inside the women’s locker room. He was arrested on-site and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. Taty is currently being held without bond.
